To apply for this award, students must submit the following items: proof of enrollment in a criminal justice, criminology, or related program of doctoral studies; a recent curriculum vitae; indication of the applicant's racial identification; copies of undergraduate and graduate transcripts; a financial statement covering unmet need and other sources of funding; a letter describing the applicant's career plans and interest in criminology; and three letters of recommendation.
