Number of Awards & Eligibility: One award offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a U.S. citizen.
  3. Must be a resident of Texas.
  4. Must plan to pursue the Texas State Florists' Association Texas Certified Florists Program. More information on the program is available online at www.tsfa.org/tmfinformation.html.
  5. Must currently work in the floral industry.
  6. Must pursue eligible floral training.

Description: This award will be given to applicants in the floral industry who want to attend the Texas State Florists' Association Texas Certified Florists Program. The applicant must be a resident of Texas and a U.S. citizen.

  • Recommendation letters (3)
  • Official Transcript
Additional Information: The recipient must utilize the scholarship within two years of the award. Awardees are announced during the Endowment presentation each year in July at the Texas State Florists' Association Annual Convention.

Award Amount: $500 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $500.

The application deadline date has not yet been finalized for this year, but is expected to remain the same as last year. The deadline date shown here is tentative based on last year's date. Please check back in February for a refreshed application deadline date.Applications are available on the Texas Floral Endowment (TFE) website in January. The applicant is welcome to apply for all TFE scholarships for which he/she is qualified; a separate application must be submitted for each scholarship.In addition to a completed application, the applicant must submit three letters of reference and transcripts (if a current full-time student). The application requires that each applicant discuss school activities and special recognition, employment and work experience, previous or current scholarships, reasons for applying for the scholarship, career plans, and why he/she wants to be in the floral industry. The application must be mailed to the address provided or to the following address for overnight or hand delivery: 715 Discovery Blvd., Suite 403, Cedar Park, TX 78613. The application must be received by the deadline date.
