Number of Awards & Eligibility: The number of awards offered varies annually. The number of scholarships offered is based on the quality of design submissions and student portfolios. In the past, about five scholarships have been awarded each year.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be majoring or planning to major in footwear design or related field with a footwear design component.
  3. Must be a U.S. citizen or legal resident.
  4. Must be graduating high school senior, undergraduate, or graduate student at time of application.

Description: The Two Ten Foundation Footwear Design Scholarship is available to any student who is studying design with a focus on footwear. Applications will be judged on the quality of the submitted materials and the financial need of the applicant.

Application requirements for the Two Ten Footwear Design Scholarship are:

  • Application form
  • Personal statement
  • Official Transcript
  • FAFSA
  • Design program verification & Portfolio
Additional Information: The Two Ten Foundation provides support to employees in footwear and related industries who wish to continue their education and have demonstrated financial need and academic success.

Award Amount: Up to $3,000 annually, renewable for up to four years of undergraduate study.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $3,000.

Applications are available online at the Two Ten Footware Foundation website. The student must submit a completed application as well an essay, three sample works from their portfolio, and a copy of his or her Student Aid Report. The Student Aid Report (SAR) is obtained by filing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). The FAFSA is available online at www.fafsa.ed.gov, at high school guidance offices, and at college financial aid offices. Documents may be unofficial copies but must be uploaded in one of the following file formats: .pdf, .tif, .png, .gif, .jpeg, .bmp and .xps. Multiple files may be uploaded as a .zip archive so long as the files contained within are of the appropriate type. Applications must be completed online by the deadline date, and extensions will not be granted for any reason.
