Number of Awards & Eligibility: One award offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for international students.
  2. Must be a citizen of Belize.
  3. Must meet admissions requirements of the University of North Florida.
  4. Must enroll as an undergraduate or graduate student.
  5. Must be accepted into the UNF College of Education and Human Services.
  6. Must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
  7. Must enroll full time (12 credit hours for undergraduates and 9 credit hours for graduate students).

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This scholarship is available to citizens of Belize who are accepted to the University of North Florida in the College of Education and Human Services as undergraduate or graduate students. Students must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.

Additional Information: Recipients are chosen by a selection committee. Students will be notified of their selection status in April or May. Recipients will be recognized at an awards reception in the fall. Students must attend the awards reception as a condition of receiving the scholarship or fellowship. Recipients must meet the following responsibilities: maintain a grade point average of 3.0 or higher; consent to release grades to the Division of Institutional Advancement for the purpose of reporting to the donor; comply with all University regulations, rules, and codes of conduct governing students on campus; and remain in good standing as a student.

Award Amount: $1,200 annually, disbursed in equal installments for the fall and spring terms. Students will be eligible to receive up to eight semesters of scholarship support at the undergraduate level, or four semesters of fellowship support at the graduate level.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,200.
