In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident.
  3. Must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
  4. Must be a resident of Buxton or Hollis, Maine.
  5. Must be an undergraduate student at the time of application.
  6. Must attend the University of Maine.
  7. Must major in nursing or pre-medicine.

This award, sponsored by Buxton-Hollis Community Hospital, Inc., is for students who reside in the towns of Buxton or Hollis, Maine and pursuing a major in nursing or pre-medicine.
