Number of Awards & Eligibility: Two awards offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
  3. Must be enrolled as a college junior or senior.
  4. Must meet admission requirements and be accepted to the University of North Florida.
  5. Must be enrolled in the UNF School of Engineering.
  6. Must have earned a cumulative UNF grade point average of 3.0 or higher at time of application.
  7. Must enroll full time (12 or more credit hours each semester) and earn 24 or more credit hours by the end of each academic year.

Description: This scholarship is for U.S. students who are enrolled as juniors or seniors in the University of North Florida School of Engineering. Students must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher at time of application.

Additional Information: The University of North Florida's School of Engineering and Department of Construction Management are proud to offer this scholarship sponsored by Northeast Florida Engineers Week Committee. Founded in 1951 by the National Society of Professional Engineers, Engineers Week is celebrated annually by thousands of engineers, engineering students, teachers, and leaders in government and business. Scholarship recipients must: maintain a grade point average of 3.0 or higher; remain in good standing as a student; comply with all University regulations, rules, and codes of conduct governing students on campus; and consent to release grades to the Division of Institutional Advancement for the purpose of reporting to the donor.

Award Amount: $2,500 annually, non-renewable. The award will be disbursed in spring term only.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $5,000.

Applications are available online on the University of North Florida (UNF) College of Computing, Engineering & Construction (CCEC) website.As part of the online application, the student must submit short essay answers (300 characters or less) describing his/her career interests, extracurricular activities, and work experience.The scholarship application must be completed online and submitted by the deadline date. Only electronic applications will be considered.
