There is an urgent need for more pre-med and medical school students. By 2030, the U.S. will face a shortage of doctors that could reach 120,000. This shortage of doctors is good news for students who want to go to medical school. Schools are now offering more scholarships and grants to pay your college tuition. Some schools even offer free tuition. New York University (NYU) has started paying full tuition for medical school students. Kaiser Medical school has also. Hurst Review Services/OADN Foundation Student Scholarship

This award is available for U.S. college sophomores who are pursuing an associate's degree in nursing. Students must be a member of a local, state, or national student nurse association and actively participate in the association, and have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale.

Charles W. Riley Firefighter and Ambulance and Rescue Squad Member Scholarship Program

This award is for Maryland residents who are pursuing in a degree or certificate program in either fire service technology or emergency medical technology at a postsecondary institution in Maryland. The student must be an active career or volunteer firefighter, ambulance or rescue squad member and agree to serve a Maryland community as a career or volunteer firefighter or ambulance and rescue squad member while taking college courses.
