In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must be a member of an ethnic, racial, or other minority or any individual who demonstrates a defined commitment to issues of diversity within their community.
  2. Must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and have completed at least one semester of classes at an accredited medical school.
  3. Must be a U.S citizen.
  4. Must be currently attending an accredited medical school within the United States.

Description: Buckfire law firm is dedicated to recognizing medical students who do a superb job in promoting diversity within their communities. A $2,000 scholarship is offered to one deserving medical student.

Additional Information: The Medical School Diversity Scholarship, established in 2014, is part of the law firm’s initiative to recognize medical school students who do outstanding work to promote ethnic diversity in their community. The funds are to be used toward his or her continued education in medical school. The scholarship is available to all medical school students in the United States who work hard to promote ethnic diversity in their communities.

Award Amount: $2,000 scholarship offered.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $2,000.
