There is an urgent need for more pre-med and medical school students. By 2030, the U.S. will face a shortage of doctors that could reach 120,000. This shortage of doctors is good news for students who want to go to medical school. Schools are now offering more scholarships and grants to pay your college tuition. Some schools even offer free tuition. New York University (NYU) has started paying full tuition for medical school students. Kaiser Medical school has also. McConnel Family Scholarship

This award is available to U.S. and international women who are enrolled or planning to enroll in a veterinary medicine program. Applicants must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.

This grant is available for a graduate student studying biology, horticulture, or a related field to conduct research on a rare or endangered U.S. plant. Preference is given to students focusing on the endangered flora of the Carolinas or southeastern United States.
