Number of Awards & Eligibility: One award offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident.
  3. Must be an undergraduate student at the time of application.
  4. Must have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher.
  5. Must be majoring in nursing.
  6. Must be 18 years of age or older.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: The Future U.S. Nurse Scholarship is available for U.S. nursing students who have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher. Applicants must submit an original video of between 30 and 60 seconds in response to the provided topic.

Application requirements for the Future U.S. Nurse Scholarship are:

  • Essay
  • Proof of enrollment
Additional Information: The winner will be notified by phone, email and/or postal mail after the judging has been completed.

Award Amount: $2,000 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $2,000.

Applications and instructions for this for award can be found online at the Travel Nurse Source website. To be considered for an award, applicants must create an original video of under two minutes in length that addresses the topic provided. Students must also submit a headshot photo and proof of enrollment, such as: an unofficial copy of transcripts, a signed letter of acceptance or enrollment, or an official enrollment verification form. All applications must be submitted online and all attachments must be uploaded to the web form application system. Late and incomplete applications will not be considered. All submissions must be received no later than the deadline date.
