Number of Awards & Eligibility: The number of awards offered varies annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a U.S. citizen.
  3. Must be a member of a church.
  4. Must enroll full time.
  5. Must plan to attend Olivet College in Michigan.
  6. Must be a high school senior or older to apply for this undergraduate award.
  7. Must be majoring in or planning to major in gospel choir.

Description: This award is for U.S. high school seniors and undergraduate students who major in gospel choir at Olivet College in Michigan.

Application requirements for the Olivet College Gospel Choir Scholarship are:

  • Vocal and/or instrumental audition
Additional Information: The Olivet College Gospel Choir seeks to add several diverse male and female singers, as well as musicians who play the keyboard, electric or bass guitar and drums. Students with considerable talent will be considered for the Gospel Choir’s scholarship program, which can support up to full-need for students interested in joining.

Award Amount: The award provides for up to the entirety of a student's need-based tuition. Typical awards are between $1,000 and $10,000 annually and may be renewed for so long as the student maintains satisfactory academic progress within the gospel choir major.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $10,000.
