Scholarships average about $5,000 per year for up to two years of education. Students must re-apply after the first year.

Mr. Albert Benin has established a fund at the United Jewish Appeal-Federation of New York that provides scholarships to exceptional Jewish graduate students with substantial economic need in the physical sciences, engineering, architecture, computer science, mathematics, biological sciences or medical fields. Applicants must be Jewish residents of the geographical area now under the jurisdiction of the State of Israel, or Israeli Jewish students temporarily residing within the United States, or American Jewish students residing in Israel who are not citizens of Israel.
