Number of Awards & Eligibility: One award offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
  3. Must be a graduating high school senior or older to apply for this undergraduate award.
  4. Must be a resident of one of the 26 northernmost counties of the Texas Panhandle.
  5. Must have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher.
  6. Must major in engineering or environmental science.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: Residents of Texas's 26 northernmost counties who are graduating high school seniors or older are eligible for this award. Students must have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher and major in engineering or environmental science.

Application requirements for the Henry Hamilton Scholarship are:

  • Recommendation letter
  • Application form
  • Official Transcript
  • IRS 1040 Form
  • ACT/SAT scores
Additional Information: An eligible applicant must exhibit community service, leadership, and financial need.

Award Amount: $500 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $500.
