Description: The Society of Physics Students scholarship program supports students studying physics. In memory of her late husband Dr. Herbert Levy, Margaret Sussman Levy bequeathed funds to establish this scholarship award "to be used for a worthy, needy physics student" to attain a quality physics education. The award consists of a $2,000 scholarship.

Application requirements for the Herbert Levy Memorial Scholarship are:

  • Essay
  • Application form
  • Personal statement
Additional Information: Awarded to undergraduate students on the basis of scholarship, SPS participation, and financial need. Awardees will be required to submit a completed W-9 federal tax form (or equivalent for international students) before funds are dispersed.

Award Amount: $2,000 scholarship offered.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $2,000.
