  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
  3. Must be a high school senior or undergraduate or graduate student.
  4. Must have cystic fibrosis.
  5. Must have an interest in art.

Additional Information: BEF's Scholarship of the Arts is an annual award promoting communication through creativity.

Award Amount: $500 to $1,000 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $750.

Applications are available on the Boomer Esiason Foundation website. As part of the online application, the student must provide the following materials: an essay of no more than 300 words discussing the importance of compliance to cystic fibrosis therapies and what he/she practices daily to stay healthy; an essay of no more than 300 words discussing his/her post-graduation goals; a recent photograph; a letter from his/her doctor confirming diagnosis of cystic fibrosis; a transcript (high school, college, and/or graduate school); a letter of acceptance from his/her institution; a detailed breakdown of tuition costs from academic institution; W2 forms for both parents (as appropriate) or a tax return if self-employed; and one or more photos of his/her art entry. Artwork in the form of video, painting, sketching and sculpturing is considered. Applications must be returned to the address provided by 5:00 p.m. on the deadline date.
