Additional Information: The Cottey College Fine Arts Scholarship is awarded to students who demonstrate a strong academic proficiency in art, dance, music, or theatre/speech. Students selected for a prospective music major scholarship and a scholarship in another discipline will be asked to choose between the two disciplines because it is difficult for a student to complete the requirements for two scholarships if carrying a music major load. Please note: Students who earned Missouri Music Educators Association (MMEA) All-State status will automatically receive a music scholarship at Cottey College. The automatic scholarship will be awarded to the first 10 accepted students who meet scholarship qualifications (no additional audition needed). Music majors will receive $4,500 per year, and non-music majors will receive $2,000 per year.

Award Amount: The amount of each award varies annually. All awards are renewable for one additional year if the student meets the renewal requirements for her department (listed in the scholarship brochure).  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $2,000.
