Description: The Hoenig Theatre Artist Scholarship provides financial stipend to young people in Theatre Arts. Must be a college Junior or older to qualify. Hoenig Theatre Artist Scholarship has year-round enrollment—APPLY ANYTIME, there is NO DEADLINE! The goal is to assist artists at different stages of their career in Theatre and Theatre Arts.

Application requirements for the Hoenig Theatre Artist Scholarship are:

  • Essay
  • Recommendation letter
  • Application form
  • Personal statement
Additional Information: The Hoenig Theatre Artist Scholarship provides financial stipend to young people in Theatre Arts. Must be a college Junior or older to qualify. Hoenig Theatre Artist Scholarship has year round enrollment—APPLY ANYTIME, there is NO DEADLINE! The goal is to assist artists at different stages of their career in Theatre and Theatre Arts. Stipends are awarded throughout the year. You must have completed the second semester of your college junior year. You must be in or pursuing a degree in Theatre or Theatre Arts. You are passionate and dedicated to your craft. Actors, directors, designers and stage managers, lighting, costumes, and set design are welcome to apply. You should be able to demonstrate financial need.

Award Amount: $1,000 - $4,000.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $4,000.
