In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must be a high school senior at the time of application.
  2. Must be a resident of Hillsborough County, Florida.
  3. Must have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher.
  4. This award is for U.S. students.
  5. Must be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident.
  6. Must be planning to major in performing arts.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: The Pelican Players Scholarship Fund is available for Hillsborough County, Florida high school seniors who have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher. Applicants must be planning to major in performing arts. Additional preference is given to students at East Bay, Lennard, Newsome and Riverview High Schools.

Additional Information: The Pelican Players Scholarship Fund provides financial and professional support for Hillsborough County public school students, as well as providing scholarships and other forms of assistance for local-area students who are applying to or enrolled at an accredited college or university in the Tampa Bay Area. To be eligible for this award, students must plan to major in performing arts such as dance, theater, or music. This scholarship is provided each year to a Hillsborough County, Florida high school senior with a grade point average of 2.5 or higher. Additional consideration is given to applications from students at East Bay, Lennard, Newsome and Riverview High Schools.

Award Amount: $1,000 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,000.
