This award is available for U.S. and international female college sophomores majoring in computer engineering, computer science, or software engineering with a grade point average of 3.0. Preference is given to students who attend select schools as listed on the SWE website.

This award is available for female U.S. college sophomores and juniors who major in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, software engineering, or systems engineering. This scholarship program is open to U.S. undergraduate students who are enrolled full time in a hospitality management degree-granting program. Students must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher (with the exception of the Conrad Hilton Fund, which accepts students with grade point averages of 2.0 or higher).

Graduate students who have completed no more than 12 hours in an approved Master of Library Science (MLS) program while attending an ALA-accredited school are eligible for this award. Eligible students must plan to follow a career into the library and information technology field.
