Description: The Arizona Food & Marketing Alliance Education Foundation offers Retail Management Certificate Scholarship to help those who are actively employed by an AFMA member company and committed to a career in the Arizona retail food industry attend an accredited community college, college or university in the state of Arizona.

Application requirements for the Retail Management Certificate Scholarship are:

Additional Information: Scholarship is awarded based on fundraising levels from the prior year and may be used to cover the expense of tuition, fees and textbooks. The Retail Management Scholarship is available to individuals who are enrolling in classes to complete their Retail Management Certificate at approved community colleges. This scholarship is available to individuals who are actively employed by a Member company of AFMA and have one or more years of industry experience. All current employees of AFMA member companies are eligible to apply for a Scholarship, if the employee has at least one year of experience in the retail food industry. Applicants may apply for a maximum of 6 credit hours each semester with a ceiling of $1,300 in a calendar year. Scholarships will be awarded upon the decision of the Review Committee. The Committee’s decision will be based on: ? Retail food industry occupational goals ? Retail food industry work experience ? Academic achievement ? Financial need ? Required documentation

Award Amount: Scholarships for up to $1,300 offered.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $3,900.
