U.S. and Canadian citizens who will have earned no more than 12 hours towards a Master of Library Science degree by June of the award year are eligible for this award. Students must be members of a principal minority group; attend an ALA-accredited school; and plan to enter the library automation field.
This scholarship is offered to Korean-American undergraduate or graduate students who are attending college in the northeastern region of the U.S. as defined by the Korean American Scholarship Fund. The following states are eligible: Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, and Vermont.
This award is for U.S. and International students who are planning to attend Louisiana Tech University as an out-of-state transfer student. Students must have complete at least 12 semester hours of college credit and have a grade point average of 2.75 or higher.

The Timothy Bigelow and Palmer W. Bigelow, Jr. Scholarship was created in 1988 by the Palmer W. Bigelow family (Bigelow Nurseries in Northboro, MA) to aid students from New England who are seeking a career in horticulture. The scholarship is dedicated to one of the family’s children, the late Timothy Bigelow and to Palmer W. (“Bill”) Bigelow, who died in 1997. The Bigelow family considers student scholarships the most important commitment that the horticultural industry can make to ensure the growth and development of the nursery and landscape industry.
he Central Connecticut Celtic Cultural Committee (C.C.C.C.C) has been formed for the purpose of fostering, promoting and celebrating the cultural and historical contributions of Irish and Irish-American individuals and groups in Central Connecticut. In addition to sponsoring the Greater Hartford’s Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade, the C.C.C.C.C also sponsors the Celtic Sons and Daughters Scholarship Program. This Scholarship Program recognizes the personal and educational achievements of Irish and Irish-American young men and women, as well as their contributions to their community and their interest in promoting the culture of their heritage.
Award recipients (A Celtic Son and Celtic Daughter) will each receive a $1,500.00 scholarship and an Aran Sweater.

The Korean American Scholarship Foundation (KASF) – Northeastern Regional Chapter (NERC) is pleased to announce a scholarship program in honor and recognition of 1.6 million American Veterans who served in the Korean War during the Korean War era (June 25, 1950–January 31, 1955). These men and women answered the call to fight for a country and people they never knew and never met. More than 54,000 Americans died and 103,000 were wounded.
To express our gratitude to these veterans for their sacrifices, KASF-NERC will offer their descendants an opportunity to apply for a scholarship. KASF-NERC scholarship program will recognize outstanding students who have demonstrated outstanding talents and potential for success. Awardees attending in college or graduate school will receive a check of $2,000 scholarships from KASF and be able to attend the Annual Awards Gala to be held in New York City.

This award is available for Hispanic students who are residents of and planning to attend a college or university in the state of Connecticut. Applicants must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
