Number of Awards & Eligibility: One award offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must be a resident of Nassau County, Florida. Preference will be given to graduates of Fernandina Beach High School.
  2. Must be enrolled at Florida State College at Jacksonville.
  3. Must be a high school senior or current undergraduate student at the time of application.
  4. This award is for U.S. and international students.
  5. Must have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher.

Description: This award is available for residents of Nassau County, Florida who are attending Florida State College at Jacksonville. Applicants must have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher, and preference will be given to graduates of Fernandina Beach High School.

Additional Information: You must not be a recipient of another scholarship to receive this award. You will need to submit two letters of recommendation with your application, one from your high school. Selection is made by the staff of Fernandina Beach High School.

Award Amount: Up to $1,460 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,460.

To be considered for this award, students must complete the online scholarship application form. The form can be accessed through the student's web account by clicking on the 'Scholarships' link in the right side of his/her homepage. Students must also file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by the deadline date. The FAFSA is available online at www.fafsa.ed.gov, at high school guidance offices, and at college financial aid offices. All applications must be completed online by the deadline date to ensure consideration for the upcoming semester.
