Description: The Florida Futures Project Annual Scholarship Competition is available for high school seniors in the state of Florida who submit an essay about the challenges created by global warming and migration.

Application requirements for the Florida Futures Project Annual Scholarship Competition are:

  • Essay
Additional Information: All high school seniors in the state of Florida are eligible to apply. We are seeking applications from students across all backgrounds regardless of GPA, standardized test scores, or prospective field of study. If you are a high school senior in the state of Florida, we want to hear from you. One winner will be selected and notified in May.

Award Amount: Scholarships are provided in the amount of $1,000 and are non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,000.

Applications and additional information about this scholarship are available online using the provided links. To apply for this award, students must write an essay in response to one of the three topics listed on the scholarship page. Essays must address the challenges Florida faces due to global warming and migration, and must be no more than 1,250 words in length. All essays and applications must be submitted through the online form no later than the deadline date.
