In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must attend Middleton High School in Middleton, Idaho.
  2. Must be a graduating high school senior at the time of application.

Description: The Colton Mackey Memorial Scholarship Fund is available for graduating seniors at Middleton High School in Middleton, Idaho. Preference is given to students who are active in baseball or football, or outdoor activities including hunting, hiking, fishing, and/or camping.

Additional Information: The Colton Mackey Memorial Scholarship Fund is provided annually through a partnership with the Idaho Community Foundation. Additional consideration and preference will be given to students who are active in school sports like baseball and football, as well as outdoor activities such as hunting, hiking, fishing and/or camping.

Award Amount: $!,000 annually, non-renewable. Former recipients may apply for funding again in future years.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,000.

Applications for the Colton Mackey Memorial Scholarship Fund are available on the Idaho Community Foundation website. Please note: The student may apply for all scholarships for which he/she is qualified; however, a separate application and supplemental materials must be submitted for each scholarship. In addition to a completed application, the student must submit the following materials: five one-page essays addressing the topics listed on the application; a copy of his/her most recent high school transcript, report card, or unofficial/uncertified college transcript; two letters of recommendation; and an additional short essay (one page or less) describing a challenge he/she has faced in his/her life and how he/she handled it. Applications must be emailed to the address provided by the deadline date.
