Number of Awards & Eligibility: One scholarship will be provided each year.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must be a graduating high school senior.
  2. Must attend Snake River High School in Blackfoot, Idaho.

Description: The Diamond W Scholarship Fund is available for graduating seniors at Snake River High School in Blackfoot, Idaho.

Application requirements for the Diamond W Scholarship Fund are:

  • Essay
  • Recommendation letter
  • Personal statement
Additional Information: The Diamond W Scholarship Fund is provided annually to graduating high school seniors who attend Snake River High School in Blackfoot, Idaho. Applications will be evaluated with an emphasis toward community participation and involvement, as well as responses to the essay question. Although not required for eligibility, additional consideration will be given to students who are accepted or otherwise planning to attend a college or university within Idaho.

Award Amount: $1,000 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,000.

Applications and additional details about the Diamond W Scholarship Fund are available on the Idaho Community Foundation website. Please note: The student may apply for all scholarships for which he/she is qualified; however, a separate application and supplemental materials must be submitted for each scholarship. In addition to a completed application, the student must submit the following materials: five one-page essays addressing the topics listed on the application; a copy of his/her most recent high school transcript, report card, or unofficial/uncertified college transcript; two letters of recommendation; and an additional short essay (one page or less) describing a challenge he/she has faced in his/her life and how he/she handled it. Applications must be emailed to the address provided by the deadline date.
