ALSC Bound to Stay Bound Books Scholarship

U.S. and Canadian citizens who are pursuing master's degrees in library and information studies at ALA-accredited library schools are eligible for this award; students may not have completed more than 12 hours toward the degree at time of application. Applicants must plan to work in a library in an area of service to children.

This scholarship is for U.S. Hispanic full-time college students who are attending an Illinois state college or university. Students must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.

This award is for Illinois resident students who are members of the Illinois National Guard planning to attend a public or private college in Illinois.

This award is for U.S. students who are residents of the state of Illinois. Applicants must have held a valid real estate license for a minimum of one year, working in Illinois and be pursuing a career in real estate leadership training.

Hertz Fellowship

The Fannie and John Hertz Foundation is available to graduate students majoring in physical sciences at select partner universities of the foundation. This award is for high school seniors with a grade point average of 2.0 or higher who demonstrate critical financial need and are residents of Illinois.

Chick Evans Caddie Scholarship

This scholarship is for high school seniors who have caddied, successfully and regularly, for two or more years at a Western Golf Association (WGA) member club. Eligible students must also have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher and have taken the ACT; students must also attend an eligible college as defined by the Evans Scholars Foundation.

Patriot's Pen Essay Writing Contest

U.S. students enrolled in grades six through eight are eligible for this award. Students must submit a typewritten essay between 300 and 400 words in length on the current year's topic.

Voice of Democracy Scholarship Program

U.S. high school students in grades nine through twelve who are 19 years of age or younger are eligible for this scholarship. To apply, the applicant must write an essay on the theme listed on the Veterans of Foreign Wars website and record the reading of that essay; submit both essay and CD/flash drive to be considered for this scholarship.

This award is available for U.S. and international Christian graduate students. Recipients are selected based on academic achievement and commitment to Christian values.

AGC Foundation Undergraduate Scholarship

This award is for students who are enrolled in their second year at a two year school and are planning to transfer to a four-year program for the Fall term and college sophomores or juniors in a four-year program or beginning seniors in a five-year program. Junior and senior level applicants MUST have one full academic year of coursework remaining at the beginning of the Fall term.
