Number of Awards & Eligibility: Approximately 100 to 400 new awards offered each year.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must be a Kentucky resident.
  2. Must be age twenty-four or older.
  3. Must be enrolled at an eligible Kentucky institution.
  4. Must have demonstrated financial need.
  5. Must be enrolled as an undergraduate student and not have earned a first baccalaureate degree.
  6. Must be a U.S. citizen, national or permanent resident.
  7. This award is for U.S students.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This award is for Kentucky resident undergraduate students who are 24 years of age or older and enrolled in fewer than six credit hours or eight quarter hours at a Kentucky college or university.

Additional Information: This program provides need-based financial aid to Kentucky resident undergraduate students who are 24 years or older and are planning to attend an eligible postsecondary institution in Kentucky. Awards are subject to the amount of funds available. KHEAA will send notification of approval or denial to all applicants. For additional information contact KHEAA.

Award Amount: Up to $1,000 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,000.
