Number of Awards & Eligibility: One award offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must have an interest in art.
  3. Must be a resident of Maine.
  4. Must be attending a Maine high school.
  5. Must be a U.S. citizen.
  6. Must be a high school senior at time of application.

Description: Maine high school seniors are eligible to enter this art contest. Students must submit an art entry on the theme of 'Art and Our Natural Environment' in traditional two-dimensional media.

Application requirements for the Liberty Graphics Art Contest are:

  • Art project
  • Application form
Additional Information: The award winner will be announced in mid-May. Mailed art will be returned, at the expense of Liberty Graphics, by the end of May. Liberty Graphics cannot accept responsibility for lost or damaged art.

Award Amount: $1,000 annually, non-renewable  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,000.

Applications are available online on the Liberty Graphics website by clicking on the 'About Liberty Graphics' link or from high school guidance counselors and art teachers. Students must submit an art entry on the theme of 'Art and Our Natural Environment'. Traditional two-dimensional media is required. Photography, sculpture, and computer-generated works will not be considered. Students may submit more than one entry. Each entry must be attached to its own application form. Submissions must be postmarked by the deadline date.
