Additional Information: The LTU Bulldog Out-of-State Fee Waiver is an academic scholarship offered by Louisiana Tech University to incoming undergraduate students. Undergraduate students who are not residents of Louisiana may be eligible for an out-of-state fee scholarship, which covers all out-of-state tuition. The scholarship is administered through the admissions department on the basis of demonstrated academic ability and is not based on financial need. Eligible applicants must have no need for remedial English and Math at the time of acceptance to LTU.

Award Amount: The award provides a waiver of the out-of-state tuition cost, valued at approximately $7,366 annually. Students may receive awards for up to a total of four academic years. Retention requires full-time enrollment (8 or more credit hours per quarter), and a cumulative and quarter GPA of 2.00.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $7,366.

Applications are available from the Louisiana Tech University (LTU) college website. To apply, students must apply for admission to Louisiana Tech University and complete the Out-of-State Scholarship Application. Interested students must contact LTU admissions by phone, e-mail, mail, or website to request an application packet, or apply online from the college website. Transfer students can apply for scholarships upon acceptance to the University. The deadlines to apply are: August 1 for Fall admission, November 1 for Winter admission, February 1 for Spring admission, and May 1 for Summer admission.
