Carol Stephens SWE Region F Scholarship

This scholarship is open to U.S. female college sophomores, juniors, seniors, and graduate students who are majoring in engineering or computer science and are members of SWE. Students must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher; first preference will be given to students who attend schools within SWE Region F, and second preference will be given to students with home addresses within SWE Region F.

Margaret Chase Smith Public Affairs Scholarship

Each academic year the MCS Public Affairs Scholarship is awarded to one or two UMaine undergraduates who propose an independent research project relevant to public policy in Maine. Scholarship students apply in April and work with a faculty advisor throughout the following year to conduct their research. The students then present their work in the spring at the UMaine Student Research Symposium.

New England FEMARA Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded to licensed radio amateurs who are residents of Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, or Rhode Island. Students must have a technical class license or higher.

GCFM Horticulture Scholarship

The GCFM Horticulture Scholarship is awarded to college juniors and seniors or graduate students who are legal residents of the State of Maine and not related to a GCFM Board Member. (College sophomores are eligible as they will be entering their junior year the following fall.) The Scholarship recipient is invited to attend the GCFM Annual Meeting and Awards luncheon at the State Convention held in June.

Korean American Scholarship Foundation-Northeastern Regional Chapter

The Korean American Scholarship Foundation (KASF) – Northeastern Regional Chapter (NERC) is pleased to announce a scholarship program in honor and recognition of 1.6 million American Veterans who served in the Korean War during the Korean War era (June 25, 1950–January 31, 1955). These men and women answered the call to fight for a country and people they never knew and never met. More than 54,000 Americans died and 103,000 were wounded. To express our gratitude to these veterans for their sacrifices, KASF-NERC will offer their descendants an opportunity to apply for a scholarship. KASF-NERC scholarship program will recognize outstanding students who have demonstrated outstanding talents and potential for success. Awardees attending in college or graduate school will receive a check of $2,000 scholarships from KASF and be able to attend the Annual Awards Gala to be held in New York City.
