Number of Awards & Eligibility: The number of awards offered varies annually based on the number of eligible students.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must currently attend or plan to attend Columbia College of Missouri.
  3. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
  4. Must be an incoming freshman or transfer student or a currently enrolled undergraduate student.
  5. Must have talent in art or music.
  6. Must enroll as a full-time student.
  7. Must attend a college or university in Missouri.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: The Art/Music Talent Scholarship is available to incoming students committed to majoring or minoring in Art or Music. Students must apply for the award.

Application requirements for the Columbia College of Missouri Talent Award are:

  • Application form
  • Resume (new students)
  • Upload 5 portfolio images of either two-dimensional or three-dimensional artwork for art scholarship
  • Upload 2 voice recordings for music talent scholarship
Additional Information: This award is only available to full-time undergraduate Day Campus students. Institutional scholarships apply to tuition only; combinations of scholarships and external assistance cannot exceed tuition or apply to other charges unless otherwise specified. Detailed information regarding terms and conditions of scholarships and renewal criteria is available in the "Scholarships, Awards, and Grants" section of the appropriate academic catalog for the student's status.

Award Amount: $1,000 to $2,000 (annually) / $4,000 to $8,000 (four-year value)  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $4,000.

Scholarship information is available on the Columbia College of Missouri website. To be considered for a scholarship, new students should submit a resume to the Office of Admissions using the contact information listed. Currently enrolled students should submit an application for institutional aid, which is available via the CougarTrack online system in the Financial Aid section. The priority deadline to submit financial aid paperwork is February 1 annually for the academic year beginning in August. Students submitting documentation after the priority deadline will be reviewed in the order received. Please note: Additional information may be required for these awards. Students should contact the admissions office or program directors for more information.
