Number of Awards & Eligibility: The number of recipients for this program varies according to the number of students meeting the eligibility requirements in any given year.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a U.S. citizen.
  3. Must be a graduating high school senior.
  4. Must be Catholic.
  5. Must be a male.
  6. Must graduate from a Jesuit high school.
  7. Must attend Saint Louis University in Missouri.
  8. Must plan to attend a college or university in Missouri.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: U.S. high school seniors graduating from a Jesuit high school will automatically receive this award upon admission to Saint Louis University in Missouri.

Application requirements for the Saint Louis University Jesuit High School Award are:

  • Essay
  • Application form
  • Official Transcript
  • Secondary school report
  • ACT/SAT scores
Additional Information: Recipients of the Jesuit High School Award are recognized for their continued commitment to Jesuit education. The Jesuit High School Award can be combined with a merit scholarship up to -- but not exceeding -- the cost of full tuition.

Award Amount: $5000 annually, renewable for up to three additional years (eight semesters total) as long as the recipient maintains a grade point average of 2.0 or higher.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $100,000.

Applications for admission are available online from the Saint Louis University website. There is not a separate application for this award. Each student will be considered upon admission. In addition to the completed admissions application, the student must submit transcripts, an essay, Secondary School Report Form, and SAT/ACT scores. The applicant should apply by the deadline date for priority consideration for all scholarships.
