Number of Awards & Eligibility: The number of awards offered varies annually. Last year, there were 15 scholarships given.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must be a resident of New Hampshire, Maine, Vermont, or Massachusetts, AND be a resident of a town or city with fewer than 15,000 inhabitants.
  2. Must be enrolled at one of the following seven Community College System of New Hampshire colleges: Great Bay Community College; Lakes Region Community College; Manchester Community College; Nashua Community College; New Hampshire Technical Institute-Concord; River Valley Community College; or White Mountains Community College.
  3. Must be enrolled in an eligible college for the upcoming fall semester.
  4. This award is for U.S students.
  5. Must be a U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen.

Description: This award is for U.S students who are permanent residents of New Hampshire, Maine, Vermont, or Massachusetts, and are residents of towns or cities with fewer than 15,000 inhabitants. The student must be enrolled at one of the Community College System of New Hampshire's seven colleges and display financial need.

Application requirements for the Agnes M. Lindsay Trust Scholarship are:

Additional Information: All applicants must demonstrate financial need.

Award Amount: $1,000 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,000.

Applications are available online on the Community College System of New Hampshire (CCSNH) Foundation website. In addition to the application, the student must submit the following materials: proof of town residency (such as a photocopy of driver's license or state-issued non-driver ID, or a statement of town residency); and proof of current town or city population (Internet printout acceptable). Please note: The student must also have a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) on file with his/her financial aid office. The FAFSA is available online at www.fafsa.ed.gov, at high school guidance offices, and at college financial aid offices.The application and required materials must be delivered to the CCSNH Foundation in person, by mail, or by email no later than 4:00 p.m. on the deadline date.
