Number of Awards & Eligibility: One award offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a resident of North Dakota.
  3. Must not be older than the age of 21.
  4. Must plan to enroll in a North Dakota college or university.
  5. Must be a current or former 4-H member.
  6. Must be a U.S. citizen.
  7. Must be a high school senior or be accepted or enrolled as a freshman at an accredited college or university.

Description: This scholarship is available for North Dakota undergraduate students who are or were members of 4-H. Students must not be more than 21 years of age.

Additional Information: Selection for the Kelci Jo Willson Memorial Award is based on financial need, academic potential and 4-H participation.

Award Amount: $500 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $500.

Applications are available on the North Dakota 4-H Foundation website by clicking on the 'members' tab and then the 'Scholarships Information' link. Students may apply for more than one scholarship using the same application by checking the blank next to the scholarship(s) for which they wish to be considered on the first page of the application form. In addition to a completed application, the applicant must submit a copy of his/her transcript; and an attachment of two pages answering the questions listed on the application. A word processor or computer may be used to complete the application. The student should type or print using black ink. Attachments must be on plain white 8.5-inch by 11-inch paper. Applications must have the signatures of the student's parent and 4-H extension agent to be considered complete. Completed application submissions must be received by the deadline date.
