Number of Awards & Eligibility: One award offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a college graduate or older at time of application.
  3. Must pursue a graduate degree in occupational therapy or a related field.
  4. Must be a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association.
  5. Must be a resident of Ohio.
  6. Must be a U.S. citizen.
  7. Must attend an Ohio college or university.
  8. Must currently be an occupational therapist.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This award is available for U.S. occupational therapists who are residents of Ohio and who plan on attending a college/university in Ohio. Students must be members of the American Occupational Therapy Association, must already have an entry-level degree, and must be pursuing a graduate degree in occupational therapy.

Additional Information: The Rosa Hartsook Scholarship is awarded to an occupational therapist who is an Ohio resident enrolled in a graduate educational program in Ohio in a field related to occupational therapy. Applicants must already have an entry-level degree and be pursuing a graduate degree. Applicants must be currently enrolled in a minimum of two courses per semester in an accredited institution of higher education. In addition, applicants must demonstrate a need for financial assistance and have a sustained record of outstanding scholastic achievement. Post-baccalaureate graduate degrees require a dissertation, thesis, special project, or research component. Winners will be notified by April.

Award Amount: Approximately $1,000 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,000.
