$1,000 annually for the first year. The award is renewable for $500 for up to three additional years as long as the recipient remains in an IT field of study, maintains a grade point average of 3.0 or higher, and continues to attend an accredited higher education institution in Oregon or Washington.
One award offered annually. More awards may be offered if funds permit.
The following areas will be analyzed to determine the winner (not necessarily in priority order): academic performance; IT-related career goals; counselor/instructor recommendations; financial need; previous experience/interest in IT; and the completeness, neatness, and presentation of the application package. The award recipient will be notified by early June. The scholarship recipient is encouraged to attend the annual golf tournament that raises scholarship funds. The tournament will be held in mid-June.
