Helen M. Clymer Scholarship

This award is available for U.S. undergraduate students who are residents of Berks County, Pennsylvania, and attend or plan to attend a two- or four-year college or university located in Berks County. Each applicant must be a single mother who has sole guardianship of one or more of her natural children; one or more of the children must be 17 years of age or younger.

Arrow International Scholarship Fund

This scholarship is open to U.S. high school seniors who are residents of Berks County, Pennsylvania, and have a grade point average of 3.5 (or 90) or higher. Strong preference will be given to applicants who are children, step-children, grandchildren, or step-grandchildren of former or current Arrow International employees who were employed by Arrow International as of the date of the sale of Arrow International to Teleflex on Oct. 1, 2007.

This award is available for U.S. students who are residents of Berks County, Pennsylvania and have successfully completed at least one semester or term at an institution of higher education. Special preference is given to students studying electrical engineering; preference is also given to students studying at Berks County institutions, with a secondary preference to students studying at Pennsylvania institutions.

This scholarship is open to U.S. high school seniors who are children of active police officers or firefighters serving in the City of Reading (PA) or retired or deceased police officers or firefighters who served in the City of Reading (PA). Berks County Scholastic Athletic Trainer’s Association Scholarship Fund

This scholarship is open to U.S. high school seniors who attend a high school in Berks County, Penn., that employs or contracts with an athletic trainer. Students must have participated in student training in at least one sport for two or more years and must intend to pursue a four-year degree in sports medicine; first preference will be given to students who intend to become certified athletic trainers.
