Description: The Zoe Zuniga-Prince Memorial Scholarship is available for graduating high school seniors at Westlake High School in Travis County, Texas. Applicants must be active in the art departments and demonstrate a combination of passion, talent, and commitment to the arts.

Additional Information: The Zoe Zuniga-Prince Memorial Scholarship was founded by friends and family of Zoe Zuniga-Prince, to honor her memory as well as assist similar students who are pursuing a higher education. Zoe attended Westlake High School and was an active participant in the school's art department. As such, awards will be provided to graduating seniors at Westlake HS who also demonstrate a passion for and commitment to the arts. Award selection will be based primarily on the quality of the submitted portfolio, as well as the strength of art teacher recommendations. The Austin Community Foundation has provided more than $6.5 million in scholarship awards since the scholarship program began in 1996. Each year, more than 400 new awards worth in excess of $600,000 are provided through a variety of programs designed to assist students in the Austin, Texas area and beyond.

Award Amount: The award amount varies annually depending on the availability of funding as well as the selected applicant's demonstrated financial need.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $3,000.
