Scholarships for Graduate Students in Texas

This scholarship is available for Texas undergraduate students who are pursuing or have plans to pursue higher education in earth/environmental science at an accredited four-year college or university. Students must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
This scholarship is available for first-generation college students of Hispanic heritage. Applicants must be accpted to or enrolled at a college or university in the Austin, Texas area.
The Applied Hispanic Opportunity and Recognition Award (AHORA) is available for Hispanic undergraduate students who are majoring in engineering. Applicants must reside in and/or attend college in Texas.
This scholarship is available for Hispanic students at the University of Texas at Austin who are majoring in a medical or premedical field. Preference will be given to students who are active in the Hispanic Physician’s Association Preceptorship Program.
High school seniors or older students who are citizens of Mexico and plan to enroll full time at Texas A&M University are eligible for this award. The award will cover the difference between in-state and out-of-state tuition.
This scholarship is available for U.S. college juniors and seniors who are either Texas residents or attending a college in Texas. Students must be majoring in agronomy, horticulture, botany, or a closely-related discipline.

The Regents’ Scholarship is designed to assist first-generation college students in achieving their educational goals at Texas A&M University. Students who entered fall 2019 or earlier will receive up to $5,000 per year for up to four years. Students entering fall of 2020 or later will receive up to $6000 per year for up to four years.
This award is available for U.S. students enrolling at Bucknell University. First generation college students, students from outside the university’s traditional geographic area, and those who bring cultural and intellectual diversity to the campus will be considered.
