Number of Awards & Eligibility: 20 awards offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent legal resident.
  3. Must be a current high school senior entering a four-year accredited U.S. college or university in the fall of 2019.
  4. Must currently be a member (in good standing) of a high school sports team or be involved in after-school sports (e.g., intramurals, martial arts, etc.).
  5. Must have maintained an unweighted grade point average of 3.0 or higher from 9th grade to the first semester of 12th grade.

Description: Applicants must be entering college in the Fall of 2021 as a Freshman at an accredited four-year institution for an undergraduate degree; Applicants must also be currently involved in high school sports, intramural sports, or community based sports and have a minimum GPA of 3.0.

Application requirements for the Foot Locker Scholar Athletes Program are:

  • 1 opt.)
  • Interview (finalists only)
Additional Information: Additional information can be found on the provider site. Scholarships of $20,000 will be awarded to twenty winners.

Award Amount: $25,000 per recipient  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $500,000.
