Number of Awards & Eligibility: Two awards offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must plan to have a career in occupational therapy.
  3. Must be a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association.
  4. Must be a member of the Utah Occupational Therapy Association.
  5. Must enroll full time at an accredited college or university.
  6. Must be a resident of Utah for two years or more.
  7. Must attend a Utah college or university.
  8. Must be a U.S. citizen.
  9. Must be enrolled at the professional or associate's level in an accredited or developing occupational therapy educational program and have completed one full year of occupational therapy coursework.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This award is available for U.S. college sophomores and/or graduate students who have been residents of Utah for two years or more and who are currently attending a college/university in Utah. Students must be members of both the Utah Occupational Therapy Association and the American Occupational Therapy Association and be pursing a career in occupational therapy.

Application requirements for the Utah Occupational Therapy Scholarship are:

Additional Information: Applicants must demonstrate a need for financial assistance and have a sustained record of outstanding scholastic achievement. Applicants are considered for all scholarships for which they qualify, but may receive only one scholarship per year. Post-baccalaureate graduate degrees require a dissertation, thesis, special project, or research component. Winners will be notified by March.

Award Amount: One scholarship of $350 will be awarded to a student pursuing a master's degree. One scholarship of $250 will be awarded to a student pursuing an associate's degree. Both awards are offered annually and are non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $300.
