This creative and fun scholarship program is open to all U.S. students who are 13 and older and who are currently enrolled (or enroll no later than fall of 2024) in an accredited postsecondary institution of higher education. One scholarship winner with an imaginative and well-written response to the scholarship question about the Zombie Apocalypse will receive a $2,000 scholarship.

Patriot's Pen Essay Writing Contest

U.S. students enrolled in grades six through eight are eligible for this award. Students must submit a typewritten essay between 300 and 400 words in length on the current year's topic.

Voice of Democracy Scholarship Program

U.S. high school students in grades nine through twelve who are 19 years of age or younger are eligible for this scholarship. To apply, the applicant must write an essay on the theme listed on the Veterans of Foreign Wars website and record the reading of that essay; submit both essay and CD/flash drive to be considered for this scholarship.

AGC Foundation Undergraduate Scholarship

This award is for students who are enrolled in their second year at a two year school and are planning to transfer to a four-year program for the Fall term and college sophomores or juniors in a four-year program or beginning seniors in a five-year program. Junior and senior level applicants MUST have one full academic year of coursework remaining at the beginning of the Fall term.

The Prudential Spirit of Community Award is for U.S. students in the fifth through twelfth grades who have engaged in a volunteer activity that occurred, at least partly, during the 12 months prior to the date of application.

Unigo Education Matters $5K Scholarship 2018

The Education Matters Scholarship is open to any applicant who is 13 years of age or older and is a legal resident of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia. Each applicant must complete a scholarship match quiz/questionnaire and search for scholarships at UNIGO. The scholarship committee will select the winner based on the creativity and originality of the submitted written response to the scholarship question each year.

Cumberland Farms Believe and Achieve Scholarship Program

This scholarship is available for U.S. high school seniors who reside within 30 miles of any Cumberland Farms location (Connecticut, Florida, Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, New York, Rhode Island and Vermont). Applicants must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher and must plan to enroll in a full-time basis in an accredited college, university, or vocational-technical school.
