Number of Awards & Eligibility: One to six awards offered annually. On average, five awards are given.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen.
  3. Must be a resident of Vermont.
  4. Must be an incoming or current undergraduate student.
  5. Must enroll on a full-time basis.
  6. Must seek a degree in dairy business/production, dairy sciences, or a related field.
  7. Must demonstrate academic achievement.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This scholarship is open to Vermont undergraduate students who are seeking a degree in dairy business/production, dairy sciences, or a related field. Students must demonstrate academic achievement and education/work ethic.

Application requirements for the Vermont Dairy Industry Association (VDIA) Memorial Scholarship are:

Additional Information: The Vermont Dairy Industry Association established this scholarship to further its commitment to assist students in their educational pursuits in the study of dairying. Applicants must attend an accredited school approved for federal Title IV funding, and must demonstrate education/work ethic. Selection is based on application documents and academic achievement. There are approximately 23 applicants for this award each year.

Award Amount: Scholarships range from $500 to $1,000 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $6,000.
