This scholarship is open to Vermont high school seniors who plan to enroll in an undergraduate degree program on a full-time basis at a Vermont college/university. Students must have a grade point average of 3.5 or higher, and must demonstrate financial need and school/community involvement.
This scholarship is for female undergraduate students who have resided in Orange County, Vermont, for at least one year, and who demonstrate financial need and education/work ethic. Students must face significant barriers that limit access to education after high school; preference is given to students who are among the first generation in their families to attend college.
Applications are available from the Vermont Student Assistance Corporation (VSAC) website. Applications may be completed either online or in paper form beginning on November 1. Please note: The student is only required to submit one application for all scholarships for which he/she wishes to apply. In addition, if a particular document is required for more than one scholarship, the student need only submit one copy of that document.
To apply, the student must complete and submit the VSAC Unified Scholarship Application and submit the following materials: a letter of recommendation; an essay; and official transcripts. NOTE: Required additional materials MUST conform to the detailed instructions in the VSAC Scholarships Booklet. The student is highly encouraged to review the booklet thoroughly when assembling materials.
Electronic applications and any digital versions of supplemental materials must be submitted by midnight on the deadline date. Paper applications or any supplemental materials in paper form must be postmarked by the deadline date.
This scholarship is open to high school seniors who reside or attend high school in selected northern Vermont counties and have overcome a significant challenge or hardship. Applications must have a grade point average of 3.25 or higher and demonstrate community involvement/service.
This scholarship is open to high school seniors who are residents of or attend a high school in Franklin or Chittenden counties in Vermont. Students must seek a degree in business or a related field and must demonstrate academic achievement and community involvement/service.
This award is open to Vermont graduate students who are seeking a degree in a health care field, including, but not limited to, dentistry, nursing, medicine, pharmacy, psychiatry, or psychology. Students must have a grade point average of 3.5 or higher, and demonstrate financial need.
This award is for high school seniors who reside in Caledonia, Essex, Orange, Orleans, or Windsor counties in Vermont. Students must face significant barriers or obstacles that limit their access to education after high school, and must demonstrate financial need.
This scholarship is open to Vermont high school seniors who seek education or training in architecture, architectural engineering, computer graphics and animation, fine arts, interior design, studio art, or a related field. Students must demonstrate financial need and education/work ethic.
This scholarship is open to high school seniors who reside in Franklin or Grand Isle counties in Vermont and demonstrate community involvement/service; preference is given to students who are actively involved in a formal community service or religious group. Students must demonstrate academic achievement, financial need, and leadership.
This scholarship is open to undergraduate and graduate students who reside in the Northeast Kingdom area of Vermont and are seeking education and training in a health care field, including holistic health. Students must demonstrate financial need, community involvement/service, and education/work ethic.
This award is available for Vermont high school seniors who plan to major in construction or engineering. Students must demonstrate financial need and academic achievement.
