  2. Must be enrolled full time.
  3. Must be a college junior or senior or graduate student

Description: Daughters of the Pioneers of Washington / State Association Scholarship grants two scholarships ear of $1,500 to qualifying descendants of certain states.

Application requirements for the Daughters of the Pioneers of Washington / State Association Scholarship are:

  • No application requirements for this scholarship
Additional Information: The memorial scholarship was established in May of 1940 as a way to honor our pioneer ancestors. Each year, two worthy applicants are awarded $1500. In order to be eligible for the scholarship you must be a pioneer descendent and either a full-time junior, senior or graduate student enrolled at a accredited Washington state institution. Preference given to History, Education and English majors.

Award Amount: Two $1,500 scholarships offered.   The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $3,000.
