Number of Awards & Eligibility: One award offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must reside in Madison, Middletown, or Monroe Ohio.
  2. Must be a high school senior at the time of application.
  3. Must be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident.
  4. Must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
  5. This award is for U.S. students.
  6. Preference is given to students majoring in real estate or agribusiness.

Description: This scholarship is available for high school seniors residing in Madison, Middletown, or Monroe Ohio. Applicants must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher and plan to major in business. Preference will be given to students majoring in real estate or agribusiness, as well as students demonstrating unmet financial need.

Additional Information: In memory of Harry A. Finkelman, a local-area businessman, this award is provided to a Madison High School, Middletown High School or Monroe High School student intending to major in business. Preference will be given to students planning to major in real estate or agribusiness. Applicants must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher. Unmet financial need will also be a consideration during award selection.

Award Amount: $810 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $810.

To be considered for this award, students must submit an online application form, including the personal information section, family information, and financial information. In addition, the student must also submit a copy of his/her most recent high school transcripts including SAT/ACT scores, and a resume detailing work experience and/or community service participation.
