Jack’s Place for Autism Foundation

Number of Awards & Eligibility: The number of awards varies each year.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must be a resident of Michigan.
  2. Must have a diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
  3. Must enroll in one of the following community-based programs: arts & crafts, dance, hobbies, music, recreation, or sports.

Description: The Jack’s Place for Autism Foundation mission is to provide families services for people of all ages with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) through a full menu of supportive, educational and referral services. The Foundation is a single source to provide families with needed support services, scholarships, and much more.

Application requirements for the Jack’s Dollars Scholarship are:

  • FAFSA
  • Application form.
Additional Information: Jack’s Dollars is a scholarship program that provides financial assistance to families who are looking to get their loved ones on the autism spectrum into community programs. Applicants must be Michigan residents with a primary diagnosis of ASD and be must be accepted for enrollment in an accredited or licensed program. A sibling or peer partner may also apply for JACK’S Dollars in cases when the he or she will be supporting and/or assisting the individual with ASD during the same program.

Award Amount: Scholarships of up to $250 are available.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $250.
