Number of Awards & Eligibility: One or more student will be selected to receive the scholarship.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must be an immigrant to the U.S.
  2. Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate program.

Description: Students of Salaam (SOS) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit. Their national scholarship initiative aims to help migrants through education, mentorship and cultural exchange.The Students of Saleem Migrant Scholarship is funded with donations and grants. in hopes of fully funding a student’s post-secondary education.

Application requirements for the SOS Migrant Student Scholarships are:

Additional Information: Any student who has immigrated to the United States is eligible to apply. Students must either be enrolled in or currently attending an accredited post-secondary institution. Students who have already received a Bachelor’s degree or more are not eligible to apply. Students must be enrolled in the post-secondary institution for the Fall 2019-Spring 2020 academic year. Decisions are sent out mid June.

Award Amount: The grant value is up to $1,000.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,000.
