Number of Awards & Eligibility: A total of two awards.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must be enrolled in a two or four-year college, university or technical school.
  2. Must have a current cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher.
  3. Must be a current USABA member.
  4. Must be Legally blind.

Description: USABA is pleased to announce the 2021 USABA Scholarship Program, including the I C You Foundation Valor Achievement Award and the Arthur E. and Helen Copeland Scholarships. Both the Valor Achievement Award and the Copeland Scholarships will be awarded to one male and one female athlete, each in the amount of $500.

Application requirements for the USABA Scholarship Program are:

  • Essay
  • Personal statement
  • Official Transcript
  • Current USABA member
Additional Information: For the The I C You Foundation Valor Achievement Award, applicants who meet the following criteria are encouraged to apply. • Legally blind • Enrolled in a two or four-year college, university or technical school • Current cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher • Current USABA member For the Arthur E. and Helen Copeland Scholarships, applicants who meet the following criteria are encouraged to apply. • Current USABA member • Must have been an active participant in a USABA event • Legally blind • Enrolled or enrolling in a 2- or 4-year college, university or technical school as a full-time student

Award Amount: $500 scholarships  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,000.
