Description: E2 (Environmental Entrepreneurs) is a national, nonpartisan group of business leaders, investors, and professionals from every sector of the economy who advocate for smart policies that are good for the economy and environment. This Fellowship helps support, and develop young entrepreneurs and emerging business leaders.

Application requirements for the 1 Hotels Fellowship are:

Additional Information: Fellowships are restricted to early or mid-career professionals and residents of the US who are able to commit dedicated time on a regular basis to complete the selected project. Fellows will be chosen by a committee of seasoned entrepreneurs and environmental leaders, including members of E2’s national network of business leaders and NRDC’s environmental experts. Some preference may be given to location-specific projects where E2 operates, and to projects that help E2 expand our reach in new regions. Preferred candidates submit projects about sustainability, clean energy, water, infrastructure or related fields.

Award Amount: Fellowships will run from January – December of 2020. In addition to a $20,000 award, fellows will receive support from E2 and NRDC staff to complete their selected projects. Fellows also will become part of E2 and its Emerging Leaders Program. This includes mentoring, media exposure, networking and more.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $20,000.
